It is in this distressing universe that a group of French people have decided to spend their holidays. 8500 euros for three weeks is as expensive as a stay in the Seychelles. But for this price they will have to be satisfied with rationed food, hotels without comfort, outdated buses... Not to mention the permanent surveillance of threatening guides. Claude, Henri and Jacqueline will discover cities without cars, empty shops, casinos without money. They will have to submit to mandatory visits, propaganda and forced tributes to the eternal president of North Korea. An incredible journey, as North Korea prepares for the rise to power of Kim Jong-Un, grandson of the founder of the first communist dynasty in history.

Adolf Hitler's life, from his early years to his rise to power, is marked by ambition, failure, and radical ideology. Born in 1889, Hitler aspired to be an artist but faced rejection, leading him to a bohemian life in Vienna, where he developed deep anti-Semitic views. After serving as a soldier in World War I and being devastated by Germany's defeat, he joined the German Workers' Party, later becoming the leader of the Nazi Party. His oratory skills and radical nationalist ideas gained him a significant following. Following the failed 1923 Beer Hall Putsch, Hitler was imprisoned and wrote Mein Kampf, which outlined his ideology. By 1933, Hitler became Chancellor, establishing a totalitarian regime. His anti-Semitic policies culminated in the Holocaust, and his expansionist ambitions led to World War II in 1939, causing the deadliest conflict in history. Hitler's transformation from a failed artist to a dictator shaped modern history.

Hitler's "Desert Fox", Rommel pushed forward at El Alamein, but with the arrival of the maverick British General, Bernard Montgomery, to take charge of the Eighth Army in North Africa, the wind of change was about to blow. Meanwhile on the Russian Front Hitler's troops advanced their Stalingrad campaign, with the Führer boasting that this key city would soon be his.

The Japanese leadership, influenced by their cultural values, refused to surrender, even as the tide of the war turned against them. President Truman faced a difficult decision: continue the costly land campaign in Japan, or pursue a faster end to the war. Ultimately, he authorized the use of atomic bombs on the cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, resulting in massive destruction and loss of life.

Brave New World (July - September 1945) - Countdown to Victory: World War II

It’s one of the most populous cities on the planet with 22 million inhabitants, predicted to increase to 30 million by 2035. Nicknamed ‘the infernal Metropolis’, Mumbai is a city in perpetual development. But with millions of people living in slums located on valuable real estate, how can city planners balance the competing needs of the population?
In Dharavi, the largest slum in Asia, over one million people are packed into the slum. But although its residents are poor, there’s a real dynamism. Mahesh, 27, was born and lives in this slum and would never leave it. He runs a recycling plant and employs around 20 people. Dharavi’s underground economy is thought to generate 800 million euros per year. But it also lies on prime real estate in the very centre of Mumbai so its future is in doubt.
Every day, new towers of glass or concrete emerge from the earth. With the support of the municipality, real estate tycoon, Babulal Varma, razes slums to build luxury apartments for the upper classes. As the city constantly expands, it pushes into the surrounding forests and natural spaces, such as Sanjay Gandhi Park. The fifty leopards who live there regularly make forays into the new housing estates. They attack stray dogs, but also the inhabitants. Each year, several people are killed by feline attacks. At night, forest department rangers patrol to prevent leopard incursions.

A surreal trip to Guinea Conakry, where there are still many serious diseases, such as polio, diphtheria and rabies. A country in full decay where the rutted roads tire the drivers nervously and where the delays they take paralyze the economy of the country ... Located in the west of Africa and in the south of Senegal, Guinea Conakry is nevertheless a country rich. Its subsoil is full of minerals like gold and diamonds, but people never see their color. The film reveals hallucinating realities: the hospital in a town of 200,000 inhabitants, Kissidougou, operates without electricity and the nurse on duty is content with the wreckage of an ambulance to go and save a pregnant woman in difficulty at 75 kilometers away. Poverty pushes families to put their children to work from the age of 6. In a roadside carpentry shop, no less than 102 children are found working and sleeping on the floor in what looks a lot like dormitories in a labor camp. According to Unicef, 25% of young Guineans take the road to work every morning rather than the often inaccessible school! In Guinea Conakry, the forest occupies more than a quarter of the surface of the country and beyond a national pierced with holes the inhabitants abandoned by the state had to create themselves bamboo ladders on cliffs to go from villages to villages. They borrow them at the risk of their lives ...
